Greetings from Ex-Chairman.
Session 2076 has been wonderful innings for Star Academy with the maturing classes of both Nursing and Health Assistant Programs. However, nothing in life can be taken for granted, and more so this year as the pandemic in form of Covid-19 which started in Wuhan, China hit Nepal at the end of the year that completely threw all our programs, plans, projections, economic and social lifestyle into disarray.
At Star Academy, our education calendar, as in all other educational institutions all over the world, has been thrown out of the normal pattern, disrupting the classes, examination, and new admissions. Millions of students in Nepal and possibly billion-plus in the world are trying to adapt to the new way of Distance Learning through On-line classes. I know On-line classes are lesser effective and torturous to many students, yet nature has given us very little choice.
Today Star Academy is proud to be in this field of allied health sciences health sector from where we are producing frontline manpower to take care of the sick people in the society that is presently capped by the deadly Covid-19 pandemic. We believe in extending selfless service to the needy and the nation. Our close association with the parent company, Star Hospital, provides extra doses of energy and enhances the potentials for our students in building both academic and professional careers.
We want to make sure that all our students excel not only in their respective subjects but also gain adequate exposure towards maturing in the ways of life, become mentally strong, and learn to contribute to the upliftment of the society and the nation in the most respectable manner.
Let’s learn to open new doors carefully on our way to reaching the upper floors. Let us live with the present scenario carefully but not fearfully.
